WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Animal tiles beside the appropriate Animal Feeder on your farm.
Animal care uses animal tiles and feeders, not the crop watering routine. Build the required feeder, stock the species you have unlocked, and use the animal’s ready and feeding prompts to manage each collection. Keep products needed by an active request or processor before selling the rest.
Place the matching Animal Feeder where it serves the animal area.
Check the animal product against current Town requests or production needs.
Choose an unlocked animal whose product you can use or sell.
Place the required feeder beside the intended animal tiles.
Buy and place the animal on its valid tiles.
Inspect the animal area for its feed or ready prompt and use the available feed interaction when requested.
Return when the animals show harvest readiness and collect their products.
Reserve the requested quantity for a delivery or processor, then sell or store surplus.
Farming tips
Keep the feeder close to the animals you plan to maintain so feed management is easy to track.
If a request names an animal product, verify the exact product before selling the harvest.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the feed and collection cycle while you maintain the animals; each collection depends on the in-game readiness prompts.
Common mistakes
Treating animal tiles like crops and watering them; use the feeder and animal prompts.
Placing animals without the required feeder; build the matching support first.
Selling all products immediately; hold back stock for requests and production inputs.
When to stop or switch
Pause feeding or expanding the animal area once storage meets the current delivery and processor needs, or when the feeder setup no longer fits your plan.
