WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Fish pond tiles in the farm’s designated water area and the Town Fish Stand for relevant requests.
Pond fishing is a stocked-farm activity: place a pond, choose an unlocked species, and collect when the pond shows it is ready. This differs from casting a rod. Check the exact species a Town request asks for, because fish outputs are not interchangeable for delivery purposes.
Know the target species and whether it is needed by a request.
Open the fish options and identify an unlocked species that matches your current goal.
Place the pond in a valid water-designated area on the farm.
Stock the pond with the selected fish if the pond interface requests it.
Wait until the pond displays its harvest-ready prompt.
Collect the fish resource from the pond.
Check Town requests for an exact species delivery and take the needed stock to the relevant service.
Keep surplus for future requests or sell it if you have no planned use.
Farming tips
Read the species name on both the pond and request before collecting for a delivery goal.
Build pond capacity around a known need; extra ponds occupy space without guaranteeing a request.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat collection when stocked ponds become ready. The activity continues while ponds are maintained; a specific request is limited to its requested amount.
Common mistakes
Looking for a rod-casting route; collect from stocked ponds instead.
Delivering a different fish species than the one requested; match the named target.
Harvesting before the ready prompt; wait until the pond indicates collection is available.
When to stop or switch
Stop stocking or harvesting for a particular target once its delivery is complete and you have enough reserve for planned production.
