- Open the fish options and identify an unlocked species that matches your current goal.
- Place the pond in a valid water-designated area on the farm.
- Stock the pond with the selected fish if the pond interface requests it.
- Wait until the pond displays its harvest-ready prompt.
- Collect the fish resource from the pond.
- Check Town requests for an exact species delivery and take the needed stock to the relevant service.
- Keep surplus for future requests or sell it if you have no planned use.
- Read the species name on both the pond and request before collecting for a delivery goal.
- Build pond capacity around a known need; extra ponds occupy space without guaranteeing a request.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat collection when stocked ponds become ready. The activity continues while ponds are maintained; a specific request is limited to its requested amount.
Common mistakes
- Looking for a rod-casting route; collect from stocked ponds instead.
- Delivering a different fish species than the one requested; match the named target.
- Harvesting before the ready prompt; wait until the pond indicates collection is available.
When to stop or switch
