- Level 100 Miner and access to Living Memory.
- Collectable gathering unlocked.
- Home World status and gear suitable for the node.
Farming steps
- Check the Gathering Log for the Ash Soil window and set an alarm if needed.
- Inspect current appraiser turn-ins or confirm the recipe that needs the soil.
- Travel to Living Memory ahead of the window and use Truth of Mountains if needed.
- Locate the node and choose Rarefied Ash Soil from its entries.
- Build collectability with Miner actions, checking predicted rating and GP.
- Gather enough for the chosen reward tier or counted recipe requirement.
- Turn in accepted items and keep the recipe reserve in your inventory.
- The node window is two Eorzean hours, so use the in-game clock rather than Earth time.
- Confirm acceptance before making the soil your scrip route.
Repeat, collect and use
