Farming steps
- Choose one of the named locations and prepare for its local threats.
- Look for Impious Mantises, Blasphemous Mantises, or Webling Larvae nests.
- If fighting, defeat Impious Mantises or loot Blasphemous Mantises as appropriate.
- If targeting larvae, destroy a Webling Larvae nest with your tool.
- Collect any Chitin from defeated creatures or destroyed nests.
- Check nearby targets before returning to the airship.
- Use the haul toward armor or equipment upgrades that require Chitin.
- The nest route can suit a player who prefers targeted tool use, while mantises require combat readiness.
- Carry enough expedition supplies to finish collecting and return safely.
