Where to farm
Exchange at Kujirai Momiji’s Fishing Association stall in Inazuma. Koi appear at several Teyvat fishing spots; Raimei Angelfish are caught at the Tatarasuna shipwreck area.
The Catch is an Inazuma polearm exchanged for specific fish, with four separate Ako’s Sake Vessel purchases used for refinement. Plan the weapon and refinements as distinct shopping goals, then fish only the required species.

How to farm
Before you go
- Complete the Mondstadt quest Exploding Population to unlock fishing and obtain a rod and starter bait.
- Use Fake Fly bait for koi and pufferfish; use False Worm bait for Raimei Angelfish.
- Have access to the named fishing spots and the Inazuma association stall.
- Check the Fishing Association exchange menu to see the weapon and refinement items you still need.
- For The Catch itself, collect six Raimei Angelfish, 20 Golden Koi, and 20 Rusty Koi.
- Fish for koi at available spots such as Cider Lake, Guili Plains, Luhua Pool, Wangshu Inn, Stormbearer Mountains, or Koseki Village.
- Travel to the Tatarasuna shipwreck at night for Raimei Angelfish, using False Worm bait.
- For each Ako’s Sake Vessel, gather three Raimei Angelfish, ten Pufferfish, and ten Bitter Pufferfish.
- Use Fake Fly bait for koi and pufferfish and fish at the mapped spots where each species appears.
- Return to Kujirai Momiji and exchange fish for the weapon or vessels.
- Use each vessel in the weapon refinement interface.
Farming tips
- The weapon purchase and its four refinement purchases use different totals; track them separately.
- Co-op fishing can help when the host gives permission, but fish pools need time to repopulate.
Repeat, collect and use
The Catch itself is a one-time purchase; four vessels are separate purchases for full refinement. Fish pools replenish after a cooldown, with timing shown by game state.
Common mistakes
- Counting weapon fish as enough for full refinement: add the four vessel recipes separately.
- Using the wrong bait: match bait to fish species.
- Expecting Raimei at daytime: visit the Tatarasuna wreck at night.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have bought the desired weapon and number of vessels; do not continue fishing for refinement fish after the target is met.
