A Doll can reach a level ceiling before reaching the next Commander-gated range. Neural Expansion uses Stock Boost Bars at level breakpoints, so check the exact tier and amount before spending puzzles on more Combat Reports.
Reach a Neural Expansion breakpoint; the first is at level 20, with further breaks every ten levels.
Unlock the matching Supply stage, around Commander Level 20.
Have Intelligence Puzzles available.
Open the Doll’s level or Neural Expansion screen and identify the next cap break.
Read the required Stock Boost Bar tier and quantity in the interface.
Open the corresponding Supply stage under Cognitive Configuration or Strategy Implementation.
Select the highest unlocked stage that your squad can clear reliably.
Complete the star condition if required to unlock Autonomy for repeat runs.
Farm until the required bars are available, then return to the Doll’s expansion screen.
Complete the break and resume EXP only after verifying the new level ceiling.
Farming tips
Check the break requirement before accumulating more Combat Reports; EXP cannot bypass the cap.
If the game offers a conversion for lower-tier bars, use the displayed conversion to fill a specific shortage.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the relevant bar stage when a Doll reaches a later expansion breakpoint. Each break is a limited material target, while the Supply stage itself is repeatable.
Common mistakes
Continuing to farm EXP while the Doll is capped; collect the required bars first.
Selecting a bar stage based on its name without checking the reward tier; match the requirement shown in the Doll screen.
Assuming a bar shortage can be solved with Sardis Gold alone; collect both listed requirements before trying to expand.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the planned Neural Expansion break is complete. Resume bar farming at the next cap milestone or when another Doll needs a break.
