WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Bee trees and hive sites on village and forest paths, with additional production options represented by beekeeping technology.

Bee trees and hive sites provide Honey and Beeswax. Bring the right tool and follow the interaction prompt at a harvestable hive; do not assume every tree is ready or that the same product balance applies to every site. Take food uses to cooking or brewing recipes and reserve wax for candles or other crafting needs shown in your recipes.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • An Axe or the tool indicated by the hive interaction.
  • Beekeeping technology or access needed for the collection method you use.
  • Inventory space for Honey and Beeswax.
  • A cooking, brewing, candle, or crafting use for the output.
  1. Check Beekeeping technology and make sure the required tool is carried.
  2. Travel along accessible village and forest paths, checking bee trees for a harvestable hive interaction.
  3. Use the displayed interaction to collect the available bee products.
  4. Keep Honey and Beeswax in separate stacks so their uses remain clear.
  5. Return to the homestead and check recipes before consuming either resource.
  6. Use Honey in the food or brewing recipe that calls for it.
  7. Store Beeswax for candle production or another unlocked crafting recipe.

Farming tips

  • Avoid chopping unrelated trees while searching; collect only at sites that show the hive interaction.
  • Reserve beeswax when candle work is planned, even if honey is the immediate cooking need.

Repeat, collect and use

Field collection is repeatable when a hive site is available to harvest; a particular hive’s availability is not guaranteed on every visit.

Common mistakes

  • Arriving without the indicated tool: verify the interaction requirement before the trip.
  • Using all wax for an incidental recipe: keep a reserve for planned candle crafting.
  • Assuming every bee site gives the same amount or mix: collect what the interaction actually provides.

When to stop or switch

Stop gathering when your current recipe stock is covered; resume when Honey or Beeswax becomes a specific bottleneck.
