WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Bounty Tables in faction hubs across Cairn, including Devil’s Crossing and other settlements once their factions are available.
Faction bounties are repeatable missions from a faction’s Bounty Table. Most factions open their table at Respected; the Black Legion is an exception and offers bounties at Friendly. Contracts can ask for items, a boss kill, or hunting a Hero, so choose tasks that fit your current campaign access. Turning in the bounty awards reputation toward the faction’s next tier and its associated rewards.
Reach Respected with the chosen faction, or Friendly for Black Legion bounties.
Have access to the relevant faction hub and any region named by the contract.
Check the Faction Window so the target faction and its enemies are clear.
Visit the desired faction’s Bounty Table and read the available contracts.
Choose a task whose target or item is accessible from your current campaign progress.
Travel to the named area and complete the objective, such as killing a boss or hunting a Hero.
Collect any required item drops while fighting, then return to the faction hub.
Interact with the table or turn-in point to claim reputation for the completed bounty.
Review faction standing and available rewards, then select another contract if more progress is needed.
Repeat with bounties that align with your route to reduce unnecessary travel.
Farming tips
Favor a bounty in an area you already plan to visit; this makes reputation progress part of normal play.
Higher faction standing can unlock quests, gear, augments, consumables, blueprints, and Writs or Mandates.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable while contracts are available. Bounties award reputation on completion; contract objectives and targets vary, and faction standing persists.
Common mistakes
Looking for a table before the access threshold: reach Respected first, except Black Legion at Friendly.
Taking an inaccessible contract: choose a task in a region you can reach or advance the campaign first.
Forgetting the turn-in: return to the faction table or required NPC to claim the reputation.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the faction reaches the tier you need for its reward or consumable; switch to another faction if its unlock is now more valuable.
