WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Tall grass around the Snackbar Ranger Outpost and open Brookhollow Park paths.
Dew droplets hang from grass blades and can be knocked down with the Omni-Axe. Look up while traveling, then collect the fallen drop to drink or store. The same simple check works on ordinary park routes, while a canteen makes it easier to carry water beyond the Snackbar area. Grounded 2 is in Early Access, so container unlocks may change.
Before you go No special tool tier is listed for knocking down dew. Omni-Axe or Omni-Tool to strike the supporting grass. Canteen if you want to store water for later. Scan the tips of tall grass as you travel around the Snackbar region. When a hanging dew droplet is visible, move beneath the supporting grass blade. Strike the grass once with the Omni-Axe or Omni-Tool to knock the drop down. Pick up the fallen droplet from the ground. Drink it when thirsty, or use a canteen to carry it if you have unlocked one. Repeat the upward scan on nearby grass before leaving the area. Farming tips Make dew checks part of travel so you are not searching only after thirst becomes urgent. Avoid dirty puddle water when clean dew is available; dirty water can penalize hunger. Repeat, collect and use Repeat whenever you see hanging droplets. The method depends on visible dew being present and is not a fixed-yield farm.
Common mistakes Looking only at ground level; droplets hang from grass tips. Hitting the drop without knocking down its supporting grass; strike the blade and collect the fallen dew. Drinking dirty water unnecessarily; prefer clean dew when available. When to stop or switch Stop once your thirst is safe for the next leg and your canteen is stocked as needed, or continue on your route while checking new grass.
