Where to farm
The Sunken Outpost chest in Pond Depths; its Mossy Key is in a separate small cave on the Pond route.
This chip is in a chest at the Sunken Outpost in Pond Depths, separate from the Pond Lab dome chip. The chest requires a Mossy Key found in a smaller nearby cave. Bring diving equipment and a light, locate the key first, then return to unlock the chest while managing air on the underwater route.
Diving gear with enough air for the underwater route.
Slime Lantern or another suitable underwater light source.
Healing and inventory space for the chip.
A route plan that allows returning to the surface to recover air.
Enter the Pond and dive toward Pond Depths with your diving gear equipped.
Use the light to follow the underwater route toward the Sunken Outpost area.
Search the separate small cave for the Mossy Key and collect it.
Return toward the Sunken Outpost chest, surfacing if needed to replenish air.
Use the key to open the chest and take the BURG.L Chip.
Make a safe return to the surface, then travel to the Oak Lab.
Deliver the chip to BURG.L to advance its unlock progression.
Farming tips
Keep the key and chest as two distinct stops in your route planning.
Watch your air while exploring side spaces; surface between dives rather than pressing on with little reserve.
Repeat, collect and use
The chip and Mossy Key are one-time progression pickups. Once the chest has been opened and the chip delivered, choose another lab or progression objective.
Common mistakes
Going straight to the chest without the Mossy Key: search the nearby small cave first.
Confusing this objective with the Pond Lab dome chip: the Sunken Outpost chest is in Pond Depths.
Continuing underwater with low air: surface and resume the route with a fresh air supply.
When to stop or switch
Stop this route after the chip is delivered to BURG.L; switch to the Pond Lab dome or another lab objective for further progression.
