Gold pays for equipment enhancement and other progression costs. Heavenhold citizens provide a collection source, while the Gold Dungeon in Rift offers a focused activity when the reserve is short. Use both with a spending target: identify the item or upgrade you plan to fund, collect available Heavenhold Gold, then decide whether further Coffee in the Gold Dungeon is warranted. Gold also comes from other game activities, so this guide is a collection loop rather than a claim that one source is mandatory.
Collect citizen Gold when available and repeat Gold Dungeon runs as needed while you have Coffee. Collection availability and costs are governed by the in-game systems; the planned purchase is finite.
Stop once the planned upgrade is funded or another material is the blocker. Spend future Coffee on the resource that advances the next meaningful upgrade.
