PC / Global released build; DLC and season content are optional.
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Craftsman encountered in an Adventure stage; choose the weapon upgrade interaction.

A Craftsman can upgrade a carried weapon during a run for Copper. This is a temporary build investment, so compare the weapon’s current usefulness with the cost before committing. The interaction is available during Adventure progression; it does not permanently level a weapon between runs.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Reach a Craftsman during an Adventure run.
  • Carry Copper for the upgrade price displayed in the interaction.
  • Have a weapon worth keeping for the current build.
  1. Approach the Craftsman and open the available services.
  2. Select the weapon upgrade option and inspect the displayed cost.
  3. Compare the weapon’s current inscriptions and role with your other carried weapon.
  4. Pay the shown Copper to raise the weapon if it remains useful.
  5. Recheck the weapon after the upgrade and decide whether further investment makes sense.
  6. Keep Copper available for later needs if you expect to replace the weapon soon.

Farming tips

  • A weapon with useful inscriptions and strong build synergy can justify an upgrade more than a higher-level weapon that does not fit.
  • Use the price shown in your run; do not assume one fixed cost applies to every upgrade.

Repeat, collect and use

Craftsman visits and upgrades can recur during a run; the weapon improvement is run-bound and costs Copper each time.

Common mistakes

  • Upgrading without checking the displayed cost: compare price with remaining currency first.
  • Investing in a weapon you plan to replace: wait for a stronger fit if the run allows.
  • Assuming the upgrade persists across runs: treat it as current-run power.

When to stop or switch

Stop upgrading when the weapon no longer fits the build, the cost threatens more valuable purchases, or the run is near completion.
