Clear the difficulty ladder through Nightmare to unlock Reincarnation
Adventure difficulty selector, progressing Normal → Elite → Nightmare → Reincarnation; finish at Duo Fjord or Hyperborean Jokul to register a clear.
Before you go
- Have Adventure mode available.
- Start at Normal if no previous difficulty clear has unlocked a higher tier.
Farming steps
- Choose Normal and build a run around a reliable weapon and defensive scroll combination.
- Clear the full run and defeat the final boss at Duo Fjord or Hyperborean Jokul.
- Return to the difficulty selection and confirm Elite is now unlocked.
- Repeat a full clear on Elite to open Nightmare; reaching the last act without its boss kill is not enough.
- Select Nightmare after that clear and complete it through the final boss.
- Return to the selector and verify Reincarnation is available.
- Begin Reincarnation only after the unlock is confirmed and you are prepared for its higher challenge.
- A full run clear is the gate at each tier; a partial act or defeat does not advance it.
- Use the end-of-run unlock state as the check instead of relying on a menu rumor.
- If a run is failing consistently, improve survivability before increasing difficulty.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the current tier until a complete final-boss clear unlocks the next; stop the ladder after Nightmare has opened Reincarnation.
Common mistakes
- Do not jump directly to Nightmare when the prior difficulty is still locked.
- Do not count an unfinished run or a final-boss loss as a clear.
- Do not confuse this unlock with Reincarnation’s separate internal levels.
When to stop or switch
Stop after Reincarnation appears in the menu, or pause at the highest tier you can clear safely.
