Reincarnation is not an initial menu choice: the difficulty ladder gates it. A run clear on Normal unlocks Elite; clearing Elite unlocks Nightmare; a Nightmare clear unlocks Reincarnation. A run is considered complete when you defeat the final boss at either Duo Fjord or Hyperborean Jokul. This route makes the prerequisite explicit so a player who has only just started cannot waste time looking for Nightmare in the menu. Pick the strongest difficulty you can finish consistently, then repeat complete runs through the next tier. Reaching a later act without defeating its final boss does not count as a clear. Once Nightmare is available, complete a full Nightmare run to unlock Reincarnation, then verify the new option in the difficulty selection. This is a permanent progression gate rather than a repeat farm for a drop; after the unlock, switch to Reincarnation only if its challenge and rewards fit your build.
Repeat the current tier until a complete final-boss clear unlocks the next; stop the ladder after Nightmare has opened Reincarnation.
Stop after Reincarnation appears in the menu, or pause at the highest tier you can clear safely.
