WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Adventure rooms and boss encounters across the four acts.
Soul Essence is the persistent progression currency earned in Adventure. Collecting it steadily turns ordinary room and boss clears into permanent Talent purchases, while spending it to revive is a short-term choice against that longer-term progress.
Start an Adventure on a difficulty you can clear reliably.
Leave enough Essence unspent to buy a Talent after the run if permanent progression is your priority.
Choose a manageable Adventure difficulty; a completed run is more useful for steady progress than repeatedly losing deep into a harder one.
Clear each room and defeat enemies as you advance through the stage.
Collect visible Soul Essence drops before leaving the room.
Reach the stage boss and defeat it to secure the run’s stage rewards.
If downed during the run, weigh the revive cost against the Talent purchase you are saving toward.
After the run, open the Expedition Talent tree and spend banked Essence on an available permanent upgrade.
Farming tips
Pick a Talent goal before spending so small purchases do not delay an upgrade you value more.
Once Reincarnation is unlocked, account for blessings and enhanced vendors that also use Essence.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Adventure runs as long as you want; Essence collection and permanent Talent spending continue across runs.
Common mistakes
Spending Essence on every revive: reserve some for Talents unless the revive is likely to save a strong run.
Leaving visible Essence behind: sweep the cleared room before using its exit.
Treating Essence as a run-only reward: it is banked for permanent progression.
When to stop or switch
Pause farming when you have enough banked Essence for the Talent you targeted, or switch to a lower difficulty if repeated failed runs slow your progress.
