WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Haunted Caverns boss encounters and their reward chests, then the Wellkeeper at camp.
Use Haunted Caverns boss encounters as a targeted opportunity to find chest gear, while treating the specific item as randomized. The useful outcome is not guaranteed in any given chest. When a drop fits your needs, send it through the Well and complete retrieval at camp so it can become stash equipment for future runs.
Unlock Haunted Caverns and reach its boss encounters.
Use a build that can survive the route to the boss and open its reward chest.
Unlock Wellkeeper retrieval to keep eligible gear for later runs.
Read the Haunted Caverns quest route and select a character suited to completing it.
Enter the hall and progress toward the relevant boss objective rather than wandering without a target.
Defeat the boss and open its reward chest.
Inspect the chest result; decide whether the item fills a real equipment need.
If it is eligible and useful, send it through the Well before ending the run.
Return to camp and complete the Wellkeeper retrieval process.
Check the stash and obtain the retrieved item for a later build.
Farming tips
Treat each chest as a chance at gear, not a promise of a named item.
Prioritize an item that solves a current build problem over a small upgrade you will not use.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable as long as you want to seek chest equipment, but the drop is randomized. Each desired eligible item must be retrieved through the Wellkeeper before it becomes camp gear.
Common mistakes
Expecting a guaranteed piece from the boss chest: inspect the actual randomized reward and decide whether it helps.
Ending the run with the item unsent: use the Well flow during the run when the item is eligible.
Confusing a chest drop with permanent stash gear: complete Wellkeeper retrieval and verify the stash.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have retrieved a useful item for the current build; switch to another chest or quest target if the result does not address a need.
