Pair Ether Tree mining with Ore Goblin patrols

The Season 10 Mining branch includes a Goblin Patrol effect that can add Ore Goblin encounters while mining nodes.

PC / Global, Season 10 Patch 7.0.11 (2026)
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Mineable nodes with the Goblin Patrol effect active in the connected Season 10 Mining branch.

Combine ordinary mining with the Mining branch’s Ore Goblin mechanic when ore and associated drops fit your gold or material goal. In Season 10, Ore Goblins are tied to Goblin Patrol rather than appearing naturally, so verify the node effect and its current state before building around it. Clear any ambush that occurs, then continue the mining route.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Unlock Ether Tree and earn enough Ether Points for a connected Mining path.
  • Confirm the current Goblin Patrol description in-game.
  • Have access to mineable nodes and enough combat strength for an Ore Goblin ambush.
  • Keep ore, gems, and relevant goblin drops visible in your filter.
  1. Open the Ether Tree and inspect the Mining branch’s Goblin Patrol node.
  2. Plan and allocate the connected path only if mining is part of your current farm.
  3. Travel to an area with mineable nodes that you can clear safely.
  4. Mine each node and collect its ore or other useful output.
  5. If Goblin Patrol triggers an Ore Goblin encounter, defeat the goblins before resuming mining.
  6. Collect drops and sort ore, gems, and other materials by personal use and current market demand.
  7. Repeat the node route and compare its useful output with a mining run without the added encounter.

Farming tips

  • Season 10 removed natural Ore Goblin spawns; do not expect them without the relevant mechanic.
  • The tree’s mechanic and point path can change with patches, so verify node text before spending.

Repeat, collect and use

Mining is repeatable while nodes are available. Ore Goblin ambushes are chance-based under the current mechanic and are not guaranteed on each node.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting a goblin at every vein: continue mining when no patrol occurs.
  • Allocating an isolated node: account for all connected path nodes first.
  • Chasing ambushes when your character cannot clear them efficiently: return to safer mining until defenses are ready.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have enough ore or saleable materials for the current goal, or when the added encounters slow mining without useful returns. Switch to a direct gold route or another Ether branch as needed.
