- Open the Adventure Journal or current in-game boss information and confirm the source encounter.
- Inspect the Ether Tree branch for nodes affecting that boss or its associated activity.
- Plan a connected route and include all path nodes in the point budget.
- Allocate the selected nodes, then travel to the matching encounter.
- Defeat the boss, collect the named output, and store it for its intended craft or progression use.
- Repeat the encounter while the output advances your goal; reassess tree spending before adding more nodes.
- Branch effects can alter encounter mechanics or rewards; read the node text in-game before committing.
- A branch may contain tradeoffs, so check whether a selected node disables another reward you need.
