WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm The Monolith map and its level 90 Timelines; alternate-character progress also involves Harbingers.
Empowered Timelines are a Monolith difficulty tier, not the Season 5 Pinnacle encounter. Unlock conditions differ between a first character and an alternate character, so follow the appropriate branch. Once unlocked, you can select the Empowered version from the Monolith map and pursue higher-end Echo rewards.
Before you go Reach the Monolith of Fate. For a first character, unlock and conquer the three level 90 Timelines. For an alternate character, use the Harbinger shortcut described by official support, then conquer one level 90 Timeline. Progress through normal Timelines until the level 90 branches are available. If this is your first character, conquer all three level 90 Timelines. If this is an alternate character, defeat a Harbinger to meet the shortcut requirement. Complete one level 90 Timeline on the alternate character. Return to the Monolith map and check whether the Empowered option is available. Select Empowered and enter an Echo Web to confirm the unlock worked. Choose a difficulty and farming target your character can clear reliably. Farming tips The alternate-character shortcut still requires a Harbinger and one level 90 Timeline; do not assume shared stash alone unlocks the tier. Empowered access is separate from the 400 Corruption requirement for placing Demigod’s Ascendance. Repeat, collect and use This is a progression unlock, not a repeatable farm. Once available to the character, select Empowered Timelines whenever you want to run them.
Common mistakes Using the first-character checklist on an alternate: check the Harbinger shortcut requirements instead. Treating Empowered access as the Pinnacle gate: build Corruption and obtain the Woven Echo separately for that encounter. Stopping after entering one level 90 Timeline on a first character: complete all three level 90 Timelines for the first-character route. When to stop or switch Stop the unlock route when the Monolith map offers Empowered Timelines; continue there only if your build is ready for the increased challenge.
