Before you go
- Access to Outset Grasslands.
- Mech tools appropriate for breaking or collecting rocky outcrop resources.
- Resource Vacuum Mk. 1 to gather loose drops, if available.
Farming steps
- Start from the homestead and travel through accessible rocky outcrops in Outset Grasslands.
- Check whether the resource patch is obscured by Noxious Slime; clear it with the appropriate mech tool if needed.
- Identify Aluminum-bearing outcrops rather than spending the trip on ordinary stone.
- Use your mech’s gathering tool on the outcrop to release the resource.
- Sweep the ground for loose Aluminum with the Resource Vacuum if you have unlocked it.
- Return to the homestead and separate Aluminum for construction from any stock reserved for deliveries.
- Mark the useful outcrops in your own route notes so a later gathering trip can focus on the same target.
- Outset Grasslands is the stated Aluminum region; do not route to Frostpeak or Hexagon Valley expecting the same target.
- Gather only the amount needed for current builds if cargo space is better used for other starter materials.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the collection pass through available Aluminum-bearing outcrops as needed. Resource availability depends on the patch being accessible and restored.
