Where to farm
Manse of the Hallowed Brothers, outside Brother of Jeremiah’s Vestige; leave by the nearby exterior door and locate the roaming Holy Bulwark.
Use this as a targeted enemy-drop check after reaching the Manse, not as a guaranteed material payout. The Holy Bulwark outside Brother of Jeremiah’s Vestige is cited as a Large Deralium Shard source. Before making the trip, inspect Gerlinde’s forge and confirm your weapon needs Large Shards rather than a smaller fragment or a Deralium Chunk. Defeat the Bulwark, collect any eligible drop, then return to the nearby Vestige and reset only if you want another attempt. The expected result should be judged from the item actually awarded; the route does not promise a shard every kill.
Reach and activate Brother of Jeremiah’s Vestige in the Manse of the Hallowed Brothers.
Have a build that can safely defeat the nearby Holy Bulwark or retreat back to the Vestige.
Check Gerlinde’s upgrade interface and confirm a weapon currently calls for Large Deralium Shards.
At Gerlinde’s forge, inspect the intended weapon and write down the exact Deralium tier its next upgrade requires.
Travel to Brother of Jeremiah’s Vestige and rest if you need a fresh attempt or restored healing.
Leave through the exterior door beside the Vestige and find the Holy Bulwark on the nearby route.
Engage from a safe position and defeat the Bulwark without being pulled into a longer area fight.
Inspect the drop and inventory; count only a Large Deralium Shard actually received.
Return to Brother of Jeremiah’s Vestige. If you are continuing, rest and repeat the short Bulwark attempt.
Once you have the listed quantity and Vigor, return to Skyrest Bridge and apply the upgrade at Gerlinde’s forge.
Farming tips
The Bulwark is a chance-based source according to the farm reference; do not assume every kill yields a shard.
If the forge asks for a different tier, stop this route and use the guide matching that material.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the nearby enemy attempt while it remains useful and manageable; drops are not guaranteed. Resting at the Vestige resets standard enemies, not a promise of a particular item.
Common mistakes
Confusing Large Deralium Shards with Deralium Chunks: they are different upgrade tiers.
Taking the drop route without confirming the weapon’s requirement: check the forge first.
Continuing when the Bulwark is too costly to defeat: Gerlinde’s stock and fixed pickups are alternatives for material planning.
