Where to farm

Fief of the Chill Curse, beginning at the Vestige of Loash and continuing beyond Hollow Crow’s arena to the beacon tower chest.

The Fief of the Chill Curse contains a fixed Deralium Chunk in a chest near the beacon tower beyond Hollow Crow’s arena. The route is worth taking when you have access to the area and can safely pass the boss arena. It is a one-time collection objective, not a repeatable enemy farm. After opening the chest, check your inventory and save the Chunk for the weapon you intend to keep upgrading.

How to farm

Before you go

  • Unlock access to the Fief and activate the Vestige of Loash.
  • Clear or safely pass Hollow Crow’s arena.
  • Be able to descend the ladder and follow the route around the tower chest.
  1. At Loash, rest and prepare before setting out beyond Hollow Crow’s arena.
  2. Proceed past the arena toward the beacon tower, keeping to the route beyond the boss area.
  3. Enter the lit doorway and descend the ladder.
  4. Follow the path on the left around toward the tower chest.
  5. Open the chest and collect the fixed Deralium Chunk.
  6. Check your inventory to confirm the pickup, then return by a safe route to a Vestige or continue onward only if prepared.
  7. At Gerlinde’s forge, compare the Chunk with your main weapon’s next upgrade requirement before spending it.

Farming tips

  • Treat the chest as a one-time resource; plan which weapon will benefit before using the Chunk.
  • Do not make the arena crossing while carrying more Vigor than you are willing to risk.

Repeat, collect and use

One-time fixed chest pickup; resting and ordinary enemy resets do not replenish it.

Common mistakes

  • Searching the chest again after collecting the Chunk: check inventory and use another material source instead.
  • Rushing through Hollow Crow’s arena without preparation: clear or safely pass the encounter before continuing.
  • Using the Chunk without checking the required tier: inspect the weapon upgrade interface first.

When to stop or switch

Stop once the Chunk is collected. If it is already in your inventory, skip the route and focus on another upgrade material source.
