WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Gerlinde’s shop at Skyrest Bridge, once she is available there.
Enemy routes may leave equipment that does not fit your current build. Selling carefully chosen spares at a merchant turns those drops into Vigor, but the value varies and should not be treated as a guaranteed farm rate. Compare each item with what you wear and what you may need for scaling or resistance before selling. Spend the proceeds on a useful level or an upgrade material rather than leaving Vigor exposed during a risky run.
Before you go Reach a merchant with a sell interface; Gerlinde is available after being rescued. Have duplicate or unwanted weapon and armor drops in your inventory. Know the weapon scaling, resistance, or equipment needs of your current build before deciding what to keep. Return to Skyrest Bridge after collecting equipment from normal progression or a nearby enemy route. Speak with Gerlinde and open the sell interface. Review weapons one by one, comparing their scaling and function with your current build before marking them for sale. Review armor for useful resistances or other properties, keeping pieces that could fill a specific need. Sell only the items you have decided are surplus, then note the Vigor received. Use the Vigor through Upgrade Character if it reaches a useful level threshold, or reserve it for a planned purchase. Check the inventory after selling so a needed item was not included by mistake. Farming tips Keep a backup weapon if it supports a different damage type or build plan; duplicate appearance alone does not make an item surplus. Sell after returning to safety, especially if you have collected a meaningful amount of Vigor. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable whenever you acquire unwanted sellable equipment. Each item is consumed by selling and drop volume and sale value vary.
Common mistakes Selling a weapon based only on its current damage: compare scaling and build compatibility first. Discarding armor with a useful resistance: keep situational pieces if they solve a known encounter problem. Expecting sale proceeds to fund a specific amount every run: item value and drops vary. When to stop or switch Stop selling once you have cleared genuine surplus or gained enough Vigor for the current goal; keep remaining equipment for build flexibility.
