WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Gerlinde’s forge at Skyrest Bridge, after rescuing her and unlocking access to weapon upgrades.
Weapon improvements at Gerlinde’s forge consume both Vigor and the Deralium tier shown by the upgrade interface. Since higher-tier materials are limited or require shop progression, focusing on the weapon you use most avoids scattering resources across equipment that may not help your current fights. This is a spending and collection plan: inspect the next tier, acquire exactly those materials, then apply the upgrade at Skyrest Bridge.
Carry the weapon you rely on and enough Vigor for the intended upgrade.
Collect or purchase the specific Deralium tier displayed by the forge interface.
At Gerlinde’s forge, select the weapon you use most often in combat.
Inspect the next upgrade tier and note the Vigor and Deralium materials required.
Check your inventory for each required tier; smaller materials do not substitute for a higher tier.
If short on materials, collect fixed pickups or buy the appropriate shard from Gerlinde once her stock allows it.
If Vigor is short, continue progression or sell only equipment you have confirmed is surplus.
Return to the upgrade interface, verify that the selected weapon is still the intended target, and apply the upgrade.
Equip or continue using the improved weapon, then repeat the check for its next tier.
Farming tips
Choose the weapon that matches your stats and play style, not simply the latest weapon you picked up.
Check the material requirement before spending Vigor so you do not buy an unusable tier.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable as a resource-allocation strategy while you have the required Vigor and Deralium. Each individual upgrade consumes the displayed cost.
Common mistakes
Splitting rare Chunks across weapons you seldom use: prioritize one reliable primary weapon.
Assuming smaller Deralium fills a higher-tier requirement: use the exact tier listed at the forge.
Upgrading before comparing a weapon with your stats: select gear that suits your build.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the main weapon reaches the next practical upgrade cap for your current materials, or switch focus if a newly found weapon better matches your build.
