WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Depths of Greed in eastern Moonshadow Vale; Kalgaroth patrols the cave and the Gate of Greed stands at its deepest point.
Heart of Greed is a group encounter with a key gate. Kalgaroth the Slayer in the Depths of Greed can provide a Key to the Heart, but the drop is a chance. Plan this as a coordinated collection effort: the encounter needs three keys, an entry quest, and a party of four to eight players. The cave remains useful while you are gathering the keys because its monsters also provide experience, Yang, and items.
Have access to Moonshadow Vale and the Depths of Greed, using a Yohara Entry or Yohara Entry (B).
Complete the Heart of Greed entry quest.
Coordinate four to eight players and gather three keys before attempting entry.
Carry suitable supplies for the cave and group boss encounter.
Enter Depths of Greed and clear packs along a route that keeps Kalgaroth within reach.
When you encounter Kalgaroth, defeat him and check whether a Key to the Heart was obtained.
Continue farming the cave if you still need keys; do not count each Kalgaroth defeat as a guaranteed key.
Keep the keys reserved for the planned party rather than entering before the group and quest requirements are ready.
Once the party has three keys, travel to the Gate of Greed at the cave’s deepest point.
Enter Heart of Greed together and complete the encounter, then collect the available chest rewards.
Farming tips
Agree in advance who is holding the keys and when the group will enter.
Use regular cave drops and experience to make key-farming sessions productive even without a key drop.
Repeat, collect and use
Key collection can be repeated by hunting Kalgaroth, but each key is a chance. Heart of Greed entry consumes the required three keys for that attempt.
Common mistakes
Arriving with fewer than three keys; confirm the group’s total before heading to the gate.
Starting the boss route without the entry quest or a party of four to eight; resolve those requirements first.
Assuming a key must drop after a Kalgaroth kill; keep the route flexible and continue only while cave farming remains worthwhile.
When to stop or switch
Stop collecting when the party has three keys and is ready to enter, or switch to another Moonshadow goal if repeated cave runs no longer justify their time.
