Farm Afflicted Claw
Anomaly 6-star Anomaly Research at the Quest Counter: Aurora Somnacanth, Goss Harag, Rakna-Kadaki, or Almudron.
Before you go
- Sunbreak Anomaly Research unlocked.
- Access to a 6-star Anomaly Research hunt against one of the four listed monsters.
- A weapon recipe or material goal that needs Afflicted Claw.
Farming steps
- Open the Qurious weapon menu and note the recipe’s Afflicted Claw requirement.
- At the Quest Counter, open Anomaly Research and locate an eligible listed monster.
- Choose Aurora Somnacanth, Goss Harag, Rakna-Kadaki, or Almudron in the 6-star Anomaly Research category.
- Prepare for the chosen monster and post that Anomaly hunt.
- Complete the hunt and finish the normal quest reward process.
- Check the reward results and inventory for Afflicted Claw.
- Return to the weapon menu and use the material if the full recipe is ready.
- Pick the listed target you can hunt consistently; all four are supported choices.
- Use your recipe quantity as the stopping target instead of accumulating claws without a build plan.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat eligible 6-star Anomaly Research hunts as needed. This is a repeatable reward pursuit, with no guarantee of a claw from every completion.
Common mistakes
- Using an ordinary Master Rank hunt: choose Anomaly Research for an eligible target.
- Choosing an unlisted monster: the supported targets are Aurora Somnacanth, Goss Harag, Rakna-Kadaki, and Almudron.
- Counting a ground drop as a confirmed source: check the quest results and inventory instead.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the intended weapon recipe has enough claws; switch to the next missing component.
