Select a target whose hunt you can handle, complete the Anomaly Research quest, then check the reward results and your inventory. Use the claws only after confirming the Qurious weapon recipe that requires them.

How to farm

Before you go

Sunbreak Anomaly Research unlocked.
Access to a 6-star Anomaly Research hunt against one of the four listed monsters.
A weapon recipe or material goal that needs Afflicted Claw.

Open the Qurious weapon menu and note the recipe’s Afflicted Claw requirement.
At the Quest Counter, open Anomaly Research and locate an eligible listed monster.
Choose Aurora Somnacanth, Goss Harag, Rakna-Kadaki, or Almudron in the 6-star Anomaly Research category.
Prepare for the chosen monster and post that Anomaly hunt.
Complete the hunt and finish the normal quest reward process.
Check the reward results and inventory for Afflicted Claw.
Return to the weapon menu and use the material if the full recipe is ready.

Farming tips

Pick the listed target you can hunt consistently; all four are supported choices.
Use your recipe quantity as the stopping target instead of accumulating claws without a build plan.
