Where to farm
A-star 2 Anomaly Quests or level 11–30 Anomaly Investigations at the Quest Counter.
To collect Afflicted Monster Bone, use an A-star 2 Anomaly Quest or an Anomaly Investigation from level 11 through 30. The listed eligible targets include Aknosom, Royal Ludroth, Barroth, and Basarios; choose among the quests you have available and can clear reliably. Investigation level and Anomaly Research Level are different values, so check the individual quest’s level before posting. Complete the hunt, claim the results, and use the bone in the crafting recipe that calls for it. If a higher-level Investigation has moved into another material tier, return to an A-star 2 quest or a level 11–30 Investigation for this farm.
An A-star 2 Anomaly Quest or level 11–30 Investigation against an eligible target.
A recipe or upgrade that specifically requires Afflicted Monster Bone.
Open the weapon or armor crafting menu and confirm Afflicted Monster Bone is the missing material.
At the Quest Counter, open Anomaly Quests or Investigations.
Select Aknosom, Royal Ludroth, Barroth, or Basarios from the available eligible targets.
For an Investigation, verify its individual level is between 11 and 30; do not use your overall Research Level for this check.
Post the quest and hunt the target, breaking parts when safe and completing the hunt.
Claim the quest results and check your inventory for Afflicted Monster Bone.
Repeat an eligible quest until you have enough, then return to the recipe and spend the bones.

If a target’s Investigation is above level 30, use its A-star 2 Anomaly Quest when available instead.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a repeatable hunt farm. Run eligible A-star 2 quests or level 11–30 Investigations, collect the results after each hunt, and use the material at the recipe that needs it.
Common mistakes
Posting an Investigation above level 30: choose an eligible lower-level Investigation or the A-star 2 quest.
Mistaking Research Level for quest level: inspect the selected Investigation itself.
Continuing after the recipe is funded: check the required quantity and switch to another material goal.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the intended recipe has enough Afflicted Monster Bone, or switch to a qualifying quest if your current Investigation has left the level 11–30 range.
