WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Iron Ore
Abandoned Ruins #2, once the story makes that ruin available.
Before you go
- Reach the story point that opens Ruins #2.
- Purchase its weekly access pass.
- Bring a pickaxe and make room for ore and other finds.
Farming steps
- Check that Ruins #2 is available, then purchase the weekly pass.
- Enter the ruin and inspect the exposed colored patches for iron-bearing ore.
- Mine the relevant patches with the pickaxe and collect the Iron Ore drops.
- Use the scanner to locate relic targets during the same visit if those are useful to you.
- Use the elevator to return to a saved floor band when available, instead of rechecking cleared areas.
- Take the ore home and smelt it into Iron Bars when a build or commission requires bars.
- Later ruins provide higher-tier ores; plan the trip around the ore tier you actually need.
- Keep a small reserve for story and workshop builds before selling any surplus.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat with renewed weekly access as stock runs low; this is an ongoing resource farm gated by story access and passes.
Common mistakes
- Entering before the story unlocks the site wastes a trip; confirm access first.
- Assuming Ruins #1 supplies the later ore tier sends you to the wrong mine; use Ruins #2.
- Taking too little inventory space can force an early return; clear storage before leaving.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the required quantity for the current build or bar batch is secured; return when another iron-dependent task is active.
