Monoliths of Madness is a level 20+ event that begins with Master Arcanist Viorel Amakiir in Protector’s Enclave. Zone entry can also require a related story gate through Sergeant Knox. Once access is available, the event panel identifies the current mainstage.
Before you go Character level 20 or higher. Access to Protector’s Enclave. Completion of any Sergeant Knox story gate shown for the target zone. Reach level 20 and travel to Protector’s Enclave. Find Master Arcanist Viorel Amakiir and accept the Monoliths of Madness campaign introduction. Open the campaign or event interface and read the access instructions. If the active zone is locked, speak with Sergeant Knox and complete the gate listed for it. Return to the event panel and identify the current active zone marker. Travel to that zone and accept or track the available event objectives. Confirm your quest tracker points to an eligible event activity before beginning the farm. Farming tips The mainstage rotates among Menzoberranzan, Northdark Reaches, Narbondellyn, and Dragonbone Vale. Quest tracking can guide you to objectives; set the appropriate campaign quest as primary if needed. Repeat, collect and use This is a one-time unlock route per character. Recheck the event panel on later visits because the featured zone changes.
Common mistakes Trying to enter before level 20: meet the level requirement first. Assuming campaign acceptance bypasses all gates: complete the displayed Knox story requirement. Farming an old zone as if it were active: check the current mainstage marker. When to stop or switch Stop when you can enter the active zone and see its event objectives, then switch to the relevant farm.
