Where to farm
Earn currency in Activity Finder → Catacombs; spend Crowns with the Catacombs Delver near the Inn at Tularest Abbey.
Use Catacombs runs to earn Crowns for the mode’s gear offers, then spend them with the Catacombs Delver near the Inn at Tularest Abbey. Crowns begin appearing from the second boss onward, so plan around reaching that encounter and extracting safely. This is a purchase farm rather than a guaranteed drop for a specific piece: inspect the Delver’s current offers, choose a missing item that suits your build, and repeat runs until you have enough currency. Catacombs runs are randomized, and difficulty rises as you push farther. At least one party member must make a safe extraction for the party to preserve its collected treasure; you do not each need to exit personally.
Enter solo or with up to two teammates; agree on a boss and extraction plan.
Bring a build that can handle increasing pressure as the party defeats bosses.
Open Activity Finder, select Catacombs, and enter with your chosen party size.
Explore rooms and collect Sterlings along the route; these are useful for caches but are separate from Crowns.
Locate and defeat bosses, continuing to at least the second boss for Crown rewards.
After collecting Crowns, judge whether another boss is worth the added danger and rising difficulty.
When the party is ready to bank its haul, use an extraction point and make sure at least one teammate exits safely.
Travel to the Delver near the Inn at Tularest Abbey and inspect the available Catacombs gear.
Compare the offers with your current pieces, buy a useful missing item, and note what you still need.
Farming tips
Coordinate who will extract; one party member’s successful exit is enough to preserve the party’s collected treasure.
Keep the currencies straight: Sterlings buy caches, while Crowns are earned from bosses beginning with the second.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the full Catacombs activity and secure each haul through a party extraction until you can purchase the desired piece. The gear is a currency purchase, not a one-time reward; no specific item drop is guaranteed.
Common mistakes
Leaving before the second boss while expecting Crown earnings; push to that boss if Crowns are the goal.
Assuming every teammate must personally extract; one safe party extraction preserves the collected treasure.
Spending Crowns without checking which piece fills a real gear gap; compare the offers with your build first.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have purchased the desired piece, or extract after the second boss when the risk of another encounter outweighs the value of continuing.
