Where to farm

Gather materials in Nighthaven or obtain them through endgame PvE and PvP reward boxes; craft at an Outfitting Station.

Perk Charms let you place a matching perk into an open socket on eligible gear. The material route combines Nighthaven gathering and endgame reward boxes with crafting at an Outfitting Station. Different charm recipes use different trade skills and materials, so decide which socket type and build perk you need before gathering. Replacing a slotted charm destroys the old charm, making the choice part of the cost.

How to farm

Before you go

Identify the charm type and compatible gear socket you plan to fill.
Meet the relevant crafting trade skill and obtain that recipe’s materials.
Have an eligible item with an open matching Perk Socket; charms cannot go into the wrong socket type.

Inspect your equipment and choose an open socket that matches the charm type you want.
Select the corresponding recipe and note its trade skill and material list.
Gather the Nighthaven resources needed, or earn endgame PvE/PvP reward boxes that can provide materials or charms.
Collect any required existing materials as well as the new Nighthaven components.
Use the appropriate recipe at an Outfitting Station to craft the Perk Charm.
Open the gear’s charm attachment interface and place the charm into its matching socket.
Verify the finished perk on the item before returning to combat.

Farming tips

If your trade skill qualifies for the lower-material recipe, compare it before crafting; recipe requirements differ by skill level.
Avoid replacing a charm casually because the removed charm is destroyed.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeatable for each charm you want to craft. Material quantity and reward-box contents vary; a box is not a guaranteed source of a particular charm.

Common mistakes

Gathering before choosing a recipe: confirm the socket type and recipe ingredients first.
Trying to attach a charm to an incompatible socket: match offensive, defensive, skill, or other socket types as shown in game.
Replacing a charm to test builds without accounting for its loss: plan the final configuration before attaching.

When to stop or switch

Stop when the intended gear sockets have the desired charms and your remaining materials are better reserved for another build.
