WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Tower of the Sun POI in Nighthaven, west of Grand Carnival. Climb to the top to reach the paired named mobs.
The Tower of the Sun is a compact Nighthaven stop for collecting open-world gear. Gear drops are loot-biased by what you have equipped, which can shift the broad mix toward your current weapon and armor types. It does not guarantee a particular item, perk, or socket layout, so treat each drop as a possible upgrade rather than a promised result. Inspect the gear, keep pieces that fit your build, and salvage the rest to make room for another pass.
Be level 70 and prepared for endgame open-world combat.
Bring a group if the mobs are difficult or other players are contesting the encounter.
Equip the weapon and armor types whose broad drop mix you want to favor.
Travel to the Tower of the Sun POI west of Grand Carnival.
Climb to the top of the tower and find the paired named mobs.
When the encounter is available, join the fight and defeat both targets.
Collect the drops and inspect their item types, fixed perks, and perk socket configuration.
Compare each piece with your current equipment and keep anything that helps your build.
Salvage unsuitable gear to clear inventory space and recover materials.
When the mobs are available again, repeat the clear; update your equipped slots if your target build changes.
Farming tips
Loot bias influences the broad equipment mix; it does not promise a specific perk or roll.
Clear inventory before a run so you can quickly keep useful pieces and salvage the rest.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the paired-mob clear whenever the encounter is available. No dependable respawn interval is established, so use the live encounter state rather than planning around a fixed timer.
Common mistakes
Expecting a specific perk or item: inspect each roll and treat the farm as a source of possibilities.
Waiting on an assumed respawn schedule: check whether the mobs are available and switch activities while they are absent.
Keeping every drop: salvage unsuitable gear to make room for later attempts.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have suitable gear for the slots you targeted or further drops no longer improve your build; switch to elite chests, raid rewards, or crafting.
