Where to farm
Church of the Last Days shrine in Nighthaven; Uttu’s spider-filled den is south of the shrine.
Uttu is a named world boss in Nighthaven associated with the Contagious Plague artifact. The route is simple to repeat: travel to the spider den, join the encounter when it is available, then check your artifact progress. The available reward details do not establish a guaranteed drop or a fixed number of kills, so treat each defeat as another attempt and use the in-game artifact interface to see whether the bow has unlocked. Once it does, the artifact quest is a separate step before you can complete its unlock.
Join nearby players or form a group if the encounter needs more participants.
Check Contagious Plague’s status in your artifact interface before farming.
Travel to the Church of the Last Days shrine.
Head south into the spider area and locate Uttu’s den.
Check whether Uttu is available, then join the fight with nearby players.
Avoid encounter hazards and contribute damage or support until Uttu is defeated.
After the kill, check your rewards and artifact progress in game.
If the artifact unlocks, follow its listed quest objectives to finish the unlock.
If it has not unlocked, return for another available encounter and check progress again.
Farming tips
Coordinate with nearby players before the fight so you can contribute to a shared open-world encounter.
Use the artifact interface to track your character’s status; do not plan around an unverified kill count.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable while Uttu’s encounter remains available. The artifact is not established as a guaranteed drop per kill, and no fixed spawn interval is confirmed here.
