Plan a Realm Card Route

Card planning aligns biome, realm purpose, and available resources before a trip. It also helps avoid spending an untamed Major Card on an accidental configuration.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

A portal network linking the estate, Abeyance, story realms, and untamed card-created realms.

Build the portal setup around a concrete collection goal, then confirm each card’s role before opening the realm. Choose a biome that supports the target and a Major Card whose realm suits the route; add a Minor Card only when its effect helps.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Portal access and the Major Card for the intended realm.
  • A biome card that supports the chosen resource or activity.
  • Optional Minor Card with an in-game effect that suits the route.
  1. Identify the exact resource, essence, or activity you want from the next trip.
  2. Check which realm and biome are documented for that target and select a matching Major Card.
  3. Choose the biome card and review the portal’s displayed combination.
  4. Add a Minor Card only after confirming its current tooltip and relevance to the plan.
  5. Confirm the realm configuration and card consumption before opening an untamed realm.
  6. Travel with the required tools and gather the planned target materials or rewards.
  7. Return through the portal, process the output, and record which setup was useful for the next trip.

Farming tips

  • Untamed Major Cards are consumed when used, so treat the portal’s final configuration as a spending check.
  • Story realms have stable geography and can be a better fit when the route’s predictability matters more than procedural variation.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat the planning and opening cycle for each new expedition. Card crafting and realm availability limit how often you can repeat a setup; spent untamed Major Cards are not returned simply by closing the portal.

Common mistakes

  • Selecting a biome by habit: match it to the target resource first.
  • Assuming Minor Cards have unchanged effects: verify the current tooltip in game.
  • Expecting a consumed Major Card back: account for the cost before committing.

When to stop or switch

Stop planning once the target realm, biome, tools, and any useful modifier are confirmed; switch to a story realm if the goal depends on a known fixed layout.
