Where to farm

Plagued Bosses are mutant variants encountered through the post-Breach Plague system. Their reward is a chance at Unique items, while enemies in the infected zone can drop Torn resources. The system does not provide a guaranteed boss-to-region pairing, so choose a target from the live map state and pursue the encounter there.

Before you go
Complete all Breach story content.
Have an infected zone active on the map.
Prepare for the harder enemies in the Plagued area.
Check the map for the current infected zone and displayed Plagued Boss.
Travel to that zone and fight its enemies, collecting any Torn resources that drop.
Clear roughly 65% of the area’s enemies to trigger the boss encounter.
Defeat the Plagued Boss and collect its drops.
Finish clearing remaining enemies to cleanse the zone.
Take Torn resources back for gear exaltation or Effigy crafting, and inspect any Unique item drops against your build.
Farming tips
Raise Plague Level at the bonfire only if you deliberately want the increased difficulty and reward tier.
Use the currently displayed map state; do not assume a named boss always occupies the same region.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat when a Plague zone is available. Bosses can drop Unique items, but neither a Unique drop nor a particular boss is guaranteed on a given run.
Common mistakes
Treating a listed boss name as a fixed route: select the active target shown in game.
Leaving after the boss: remaining enemies must be cleared for the zone cleanse.
Expecting a guaranteed Unique: the documented reward is a chance, so keep other gear routes in mind.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the boss is defeated and the zone is cleansed, or switch to another gear activity if the active map has no Plagued zone.
