Target bosses for enchanted gear

Bosses have an increased chance to drop enchanted gear, making available boss encounters a focused option when you want to improve your equipment.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Breach campaign boss arenas reached through story progression, including the encounters with The Lost Huntress, The Caretaker & Tusk, and The Winged Brood.

In The Breach Early Access version, bosses have a much greater chance to drop enchanted gear. Use this as a targeted gear check when you reach a boss encounter: prepare the equipment you need, defeat the boss, and inspect what it drops. The Breach campaign includes encounters such as The Lost Huntress, The Caretaker & Tusk, and The Winged Brood. This is a chance-based reward, not a promise of a particular item, and the available facts do not establish that these encounters can be reset for repeat kills.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Reach a Breach campaign boss encounter through story progression.
  • Bring equipment suited to the current encounter and enough inventory space to collect drops.
  • Know which weapon or armor slot you want to improve so you can assess the result.
  1. Choose a boss encounter you have reached through the campaign; use the named arena as your target rather than detouring into unrelated areas.
  2. Before entering, check your equipped weapon and armor and decide which slots could benefit from an upgrade.
  3. Defeat the boss using the approach that works for your build; no particular attack pattern or item drop is required for the gear chance.
  4. Collect the boss’s drops and inspect them in your inventory for enchanted gear.
  5. Compare any enchanted item with what you currently use, including whether its attributes suit your character.
  6. Keep useful pieces for your build and take other gear to the appropriate Sacrament vendor if you want to use the available gear services.

Farming tips

  • Judge the actual item and its attributes before replacing equipped gear; an enchanted drop is not automatically a fit for your build.
  • Bosses have an increased chance of enchanted gear, but the encounter does not guarantee a drop or a specific item.

Repeat, collect and use

Campaign boss encounters are progression targets, and the available facts do not confirm a repeat or reset loop. Check the current game if an encounter remains accessible after completion; otherwise, target a later boss you reach through story progression.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting a guaranteed enchanted item: inspect the drops you receive and continue campaign progression if the encounter is complete.
  • Assuming a boss can be repeatedly reset: do not plan a farming loop around a reset mechanic that is not established.
  • Equipping an item solely because it is enchanted: compare its attributes with your build and current gear first.

When to stop or switch

Stop after you have checked the encounter’s drops and either found a useful upgrade or completed that progression fight; continue to the next available boss if you still want another chance at enchanted gear.
