Workshop Defense offers a combat-based way to earn Acid, giving you an activity to consider when you want Acid without relying only on territory production.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
An available Workshop Defense event in your active world; use the in-game event information to locate and inspect the current activity.
Find an available Workshop Defense event, prepare for its combat, and complete the defense to claim its Acid reward. The reward amount can vary with scenario or updates, so check the event’s current terms and the post-event reward display before treating it as part of a stock plan. This is a reward loop rather than a crafting recipe: you do not need to convert Impure Acid and Purified Water in a Brewing Barrel for this method.
Access to a Workshop Defense event in the active scenario.
Combat equipment suited to the event’s current enemies and requirements.
Inventory space for the Acid reward.
A current Acid need that makes the event worthwhile.
Open the in-game event information and confirm that Workshop Defense is available in your active world.
Read the event’s displayed requirements and reward details before setting out.
Travel to the event location shown in-game and begin the defense using its displayed interaction.
Defeat the attackers and protect the workshop until the event reports completion.
Check the reward display or inventory to confirm whether Acid was awarded and how much you received.
Store the Acid for the crafting or stock goal that prompted the run.
If you need more, check for another available Workshop Defense and reassess its current reward before repeating.
Farming tips
Treat the live event reward as authoritative; scenario and update changes can affect Acid rewards.
Bring enough combat supplies to finish the defense, but avoid planning around an unverified fixed Acid amount.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat only when another Workshop Defense is available and its current reward is useful. This is a repeatable activity when events are available, not a guaranteed unlimited or fixed-rate Acid source.
Common mistakes
Assuming every scenario or event awards the same amount of Acid: check the current event reward display.
Leaving before the event marks the defense complete: follow its in-game objective until completion is registered.
Confusing this reward with Brewing Barrel output: collect the event reward directly and use barrel processing only as a separate method.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your Acid stock goal is met, the event is unavailable, or the displayed reward no longer justifies the combat and travel.
