Where to farm
A powered Mining Operation Platform in your territory, configured for a currently available ore.
Use Digby Boy with a powered Mining Operation Platform, select an ore the platform currently supports, and collect finished output from the platform itself. The Deviant prioritizes the platform when one is available; its securement unit is not where the gathered inventory is collected.
Have a Digby Boy Deviant and a securement unit in territory.
Build and power a Mining Operation Platform.
Select an ore supported by the platform in the current scenario.
Place the Mining Operation Platform in territory and connect its required power.
Open the platform interface and choose an ore currently listed as available.
Place Digby Boy in its territory securement unit so it can prioritize the platform.
Check the platform’s operating state before leaving the base.
Return later and open the platform inventory to collect accumulated ore.
Use the collected ore in your available processing or crafting steps.
Farming tips
April 2026 update removed Tin from wilderness spawns and removed Tin and Aluminum from Mining Platform and Digby outputs; do not target those materials with this method.
Check the platform’s current options in your scenario rather than assuming every ore is supported.
Repeat, collect and use
This is an ongoing territory production loop while the platform remains powered and configured; collect from its inventory periodically and replenish any required operating conditions.
Common mistakes
Looking for output in Digby Boy’s securement unit: collect it from the Mining Operation Platform inventory.
Leaving the platform unpowered: check the displayed operating state and restore power.
Selecting an ore no longer supported: use a listed current option, especially after balance updates.
When to stop or switch
Stop the platform or change its ore selection once your stock target is met, or if power and territory upkeep are not worth the current output.
