Where to farm
Pure Quartz deposits in the Astral Mountains or a Pure Quartz Mine at your base; craft Circuit Boards at a station offering the recipe.
Prepare for cold-region travel and bring a miner with Mining level 3 or higher for field nodes. Bring quartz home, then check the Circuit Board recipe and gather its other ingredients before crafting.

How to farm
Before you go
A pickaxe and a Pal with Mining level 3 or higher for field nodes.
Cold-region protection, healing, and combat gear for mountain travel.
An unlocked Pure Quartz Mine for the base route, if available.
The current Circuit Board recipe and its other ingredients.
Check the Circuit Board recipe and decide how much quartz the planned batch requires.
Prepare cold protection, food, healing, combat support, and inventory space.
Bring a Mining level 3 or higher Pal and travel to the Astral Mountains.
Search visible Pure Quartz clusters and check the area for threats before mining.
Mine the deposits with your pickaxe and collect the quartz before moving on.
Return to base and store quartz near the electronics crafting area.
If a Pure Quartz Mine is available, build and staff it; arrange Transporting and reachable storage for its output.
Gather the remaining Circuit Board ingredients, craft the planned batch, and store spare quartz for later.
Farming tips
Leave inventory space for quartz and supplies before entering the mountains.
Use a base mine for gradual replenishment and field trips when an upcoming recipe needs a larger top-up.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable: field nodes can be revisited and a staffed base mine can produce more quartz. Circuit Board crafting consumes quartz and other recipe inputs.
Common mistakes
Traveling without cold protection: prepare for the Astral Mountains before setting out.
Bringing a miner below level 3: check suitability before the trip.
Assuming quartz alone makes Circuit Boards: check the full station recipe and gather remaining materials.
When to stop or switch
End the field run when the planned Circuit Board batch and a useful reserve are covered, or earlier if supplies or protection run low.
