A Ranch with Vaelet, Wheat Plantation, and Mill at your base.
Before you go
- A Ranch with Vaelet assigned; its seed output can include several vegetable types.
- For the listed 1.0 setup, Technology level 15 and 2 Technology points unlock Wheat Plantation.
- The listed 1.0 construction recipe uses 3 Wheat Seeds, 15 Wood, and 15 Stone.
- A Mill, a Watering Pal, and suitable Planting, Watering, and Gathering workers.
Farming steps
- Build a Ranch and assign Vaelet; collect Wheat Seeds from its periodic seed output.
- Check the Wheat Plantation unlock and construction requirements in the in-game menus.
- Collect the displayed materials and build the plantation once available.
- Assign Pals with Planting, Watering, and Gathering suitability, then check that crop stages are covered.
- Harvest Wheat when ready; after the plantation is built, later crop cycles do not require reseeding.
- Build or use a Mill and assign a Watering Pal to operate it.
- Place Wheat into the Mill’s production interface and collect the resulting Flour.
- Store Flour with cooking ingredients and use the live recipe list to plan dishes such as Cake.
- Vaelet can produce several seed types, so sort the Ranch output instead of expecting every seed to be Wheat.
- Keep Wheat near the Mill and Flour near cooking storage to reduce hauling.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable: Vaelet can replenish seed stock and the plantation produces subsequent Wheat cycles without reseeding after construction. Milling consumes Wheat to make Flour.
Common mistakes
- Building before securing the required seeds and materials: check the current construction recipe first.
- Expecting Vaelet to produce only Wheat Seeds: sort its varied seed output.
- Leaving the Mill without a Watering Pal: assign one and confirm it operates.
When to stop or switch
Pause planting once Flour stock covers planned recipes; keep Vaelet assigned if you want seeds available for future crop starts.
