Smuggler’s Caches
Smuggler's Cache objects encountered while exploring Atlas maps.
Before you go
- Complete Act X and unlock Atlas maps.
- Have map access and enough character power to clear the chosen map.
- Unlock Rogue Harbour if you plan to run collected Contracts.
Farming steps
- Open a map and follow its routes while watching for the Smuggler's Cache indicator.
- Approach each cache you find and interact with it to open its contents.
- Collect the Contracts and Rogue Markers that appear.
- Keep any Blueprint you want to run or sell through the game's trade system.
- Return to the Atlas and continue mapping for further cache encounters.
- Take collected Contracts to Rogue Harbour and select an appropriate Rogue.
- Use Markers for Heist entry or Blueprint reveals according to your plan.
- Atlas passives can affect Heist encounters when allocated; inspect the current tree before specializing.
- A cache is a supply source, not a guaranteed Blueprint drop.
Repeat, collect and use
Caches can appear across repeated maps, but any individual cache is opened once; continue mapping to find more.
Common mistakes
- Leaving the cache unopened after spotting it; interact with the object to collect its contents.
- Expecting every cache to yield a Blueprint; budget around Contracts and Markers instead.
- Letting Contracts accumulate without a plan; run suitable ones or use the game's trade system.
When to stop or switch
Switch to Contracts once you have enough supplies for the Heist goal you chose, or return to ordinary mapping if cache hunting slows your main progression.
