Where to farm
Trading Posts on large islands, using bait purchased at the post and a fishing rod.
Earn Trade Coins by fishing with Trading Post bait and selling the matching rare fish back to the post. The bait tier available depends on your reputation. Begin with the tier currently unlocked, then move up when your fish sales unlock the next shop tier.
Trash Cubes to purchase the currently available bait.
Fishing rod and storage for caught fish.
Visit a Trading Post and inspect which bait tier is currently available.
Buy bait with Trash Cubes, choosing only a tier you can currently access.
Use that bait with a fishing rod to catch its corresponding rare fish.
Return to the post and sell the matching fish through its exchange option.
Collect the Trade Coins and reputation earned from the fish sale.
Use reputation to unlock later tiers, then buy their bait when it becomes available.
Spend Trade Coins on stock that supports your current crafting or progression plan.
Farming tips
Keep bait and fish associated with their tier so you can complete the matching exchange.
Check the post’s current tier before spending Trash Cubes on bait.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the bait, fishing and matching sale loop for available tiers. Coin earnings depend on completing fish exchanges; the higher bait tiers are reputation-gated.
Common mistakes
Expecting every bait tier on first arrival: earn reputation through fish sales to unlock later stock.
Selling ordinary fish as if they were bait-order fish: use bait and sell the corresponding rare fish.
Buying bait without enough Trash Cubes for the planned batch: gather Trash Cubes before making the trip.
When to stop or switch
Stop fishing when you have enough Trade Coins for the next purchase or when your current bait batch is complete; return after reputation unlocks a higher tier.
