WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Bastion > Guardian Ring > Faction Guardians.

Faction Guardians turn eligible duplicate Rare, Epic, and Legendary Champions into faction-wide stat bonuses for Champions of the same rarity. Assigned copies remain usable in battle. Check faction and rarity slots before deciding what to do with a duplicate; it may instead be useful for skill upgrades or another roster purpose.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Own duplicate Champions eligible for a Guardian slot.
  • Check the copy’s faction and rarity against available slots.
  • Review whether the duplicate has another intended use, such as skill upgrades.
  1. Open the Guardian Ring and select Faction Guardians.
  2. Choose the faction matching the duplicate Champion you are considering.
  3. Inspect the slot for that Champion’s rarity and confirm it is available.
  4. Assign the duplicate to the matching slot if the stat bonus supports your roster.
  5. Verify that the Guardian bonus is active for Champions of the same faction and rarity.
  6. Keep the assigned Champion available for battle; assignment does not remove its combat use.
  7. Review future duplicates against open slots before using them elsewhere.

Farming tips

  • Guardians remain usable in battle, so assigning a copy does not make it unavailable as a team member.
  • Do not assume every duplicate belongs in a Guardian slot; skill upgrades and account plans may matter too.

Repeat, collect and use

A persistent roster assignment, not an Energy farm. Repeat for eligible duplicates and open faction-rarity slots as your collection grows.

Common mistakes

  • Using an eligible duplicate as Tavern food before checking Guardian slots; inspect the Ring first.
  • Expecting the bonus to apply across all factions or rarities; match both faction and rarity.
  • Treating the assigned Champion as unusable; Guardians remain playable.

When to stop or switch

Stop assigning when relevant slots are filled or when the duplicate has a more valuable planned use; revisit after acquiring new copies.
