The official portal notice lists a 25% chance for a Pirate Cave Legacy portal after defeating the regular dungeon boss. That means the legacy version is a possible continuation, not a guaranteed destination. Use this loop when you specifically want to try the older version’s rewards or encounter. The regular Pirate Cave remains the access route, and each post-boss portal check is a separate chance.
Repeat regular Pirate Cave clears for another portal chance while you want the legacy reward pool. The portal can fail to appear on any attempt, and individual legacy items are not guaranteed.
Stop when the legacy reward you wanted drops or when another attempt is no longer worth the risk. Switch to a different dungeon for its own reward pool.
