Pirate Cave Legacy Portal
Post-boss area after the regular Pirate Cave boss.
Before you go
- Find or enter a regular Pirate Cave.
- Be equipped to clear its rooms and boss safely.
- Have enough health and supplies to continue if a legacy portal appears.
Farming steps
- Enter the regular Pirate Cave and progress through its rooms toward the boss.
- Clear the route while keeping enough health for the boss encounter.
- Defeat the regular boss and inspect the post-boss area for a legacy portal.
- If no portal appears, collect any regular rewards and end the attempt or find another cave.
- If the portal appears, assess your character before choosing to enter.
- Complete the Legacy Pirate Cave and defeat its encounter as presented in game.
- Collect the actual legacy rewards and leave safely.
- A 25% chance is not a fixed one-in-four schedule; several clears may pass without a portal.
- Do not continue into the legacy version if the regular clear has left your character too weak.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat regular Pirate Cave clears for another portal chance while you want the legacy reward pool. The portal can fail to appear on any attempt, and individual legacy items are not guaranteed.
Common mistakes
- Assuming the portal appears after every regular boss; check the post-boss area each time.
- Treating the legacy portal as mandatory; use it only when your character can continue safely.
- Farming without a specific legacy target; define the desired reward and stop when you obtain it.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the legacy reward you wanted drops or when another attempt is no longer worth the risk. Switch to a different dungeon for its own reward pool.
