WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Wilderness > Paleohall upgrade screen; named story stages 2-14, 3-15 and 4-21, plus Traces.
The Paleohall is the Wilderness’s central building, and upgrading it enables further Dust Bell Tower and Sharpodonty Market progression. Its main upgrade resource is available from named story stages and from collecting Traces, so treat the requirement as a mixed route rather than repeatedly farming one source without checking your balance. The exact next requirement is visible in the building interface. Gather only until you can apply the next useful upgrade, then reassess which production level it unlocks.
Reach the point where the next Paleohall upgrade is available.
Have access to the relevant story stages or uncollected Traces.
Open the Paleohall and read its next upgrade requirement.
Check your inventory for the named building material and note the shortfall.
Review story stages 2-14, 3-15 and 4-21 for the displayed material reward.
Choose an available named stage that awards the needed resource and clear it.
Collect any accessible Traces that contribute to the requirement.
Return to the Paleohall and check whether the material threshold is met.
Apply the upgrade and inspect which production-building level it unlocks.
Farming tips
Combine stage farming with Traces instead of assuming either source alone will finish the requirement.
Use the Paleohall panel as the authority for the current cost and eligibility.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat for each available Paleohall upgrade. This is a finite progression chain; stop once the desired structure levels are unlocked or the building reaches its cap.
Common mistakes
Farming before reading the exact requirement: check the current shortfall first.
Ignoring Traces: collect available ones when they contribute to the same building goal.
Upgrading without a production goal: prioritize levels that unlock or improve useful income buildings.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the next Paleohall upgrade is applied and it has opened the intended building progression; switch back to passive collection when no useful upgrade remains.
