A randomly placed Shrine of the Mountain on an ordinary stage, used before that stage’s teleporter event.
Before you go
- Find a Shrine of the Mountain during stage exploration.
- Enough damage and survivability for the added boss encounter difficulty.
- Time to finish the event and collect its rewards before activating the next stage transition.
Farming steps
- Explore the stage and identify whether a Shrine of the Mountain has spawned.
- Before activating it, assess your health, damage, mobility, and current difficulty scaling.
- If the build can handle the additional challenge, interact with the shrine once to invoke its effect.
- Locate and activate the teleporter to begin the boss event under the increased challenge.
- Stay within the teleporter area as needed to charge it while defeating the boss and additional threats.
- After the event completes, collect all visible boss drops and the additional teleporter reward opportunity before leaving.
- Skip the shrine when the build is already struggling; the extra reward is not worth risking the run’s progress.
- Search the whole generated stage rather than relying on remembered coordinates; placements vary.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a repeatable stage choice whenever a shrine appears in a new stage. It does not guarantee a particular item, and no extra reward is created by activating multiple shrines beyond the encounter’s supported reward effect.
Common mistakes
- Activating the shrine with too little combat power; judge the current run before accepting harder bosses.
- Starting the teleporter first; interact with the shrine beforehand.
- Leaving without collecting the additional drops; sweep the teleporter area after the encounter.
When to stop or switch
Stop using the shrine when the encounter is complete and rewards are collected; proceed to the next stage or skip future shrines if the run becomes too risky.
