WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
At the docks, compare available heirs before entering the Kingdom.
Use the heir selection screen to weigh a displayed gold bonus against the practical cost of its Trait. A larger multiplier only helps if you can still clear rooms and collect their rewards. Gold remains useful after an heir falls, so a manageable run that reaches more rooms can serve your Manor plans better than a punishing bonus that ends the attempt early.
At least two heir choices are available, or one heir has a gold-modifying Trait.
Read each displayed Trait and gold modifier before choosing.
Have a Manor upgrade in mind for the inheritance.
Review the gold modifier shown for each heir.
Read the Trait description to understand its effect on movement, combat, visibility, or another part of the run.
Choose a class and Trait combination you can handle reliably.
Enter the Kingdom and clear rooms at a pace that lets you collect their gold and treasure.
Use the map to keep track of explored rooms and avoid spending health on unnecessary detours.
When the heir falls, return to the Manor and put the inheritance toward a useful permanent upgrade.
Farming tips
Compare the actual Trait description and multiplier; do not assume every negative Trait affects your run the same way.
A lower bonus can be the better choice if it lets you survive longer and reach more rooms.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat with each new heir selection. Trait choices are run-specific, while Manor upgrades purchased with the resulting gold persist.
Common mistakes
Taking a high multiplier without understanding its drawback; read the full Trait text before committing.
Rushing past reachable treasure rooms; collect rewards when the route is safe.
Spending inheritance without considering the next run; choose an upgrade that supports a concrete progression or survival need.
When to stop or switch
Stop prioritizing bonus Traits when the available drawback makes room clearing unreliable, or when another heir offers a safer route to your current Manor goal.
